Toddy for toast in school

Makkal Osai had an interesting item in its front page today.

Apparently a group of Form Four boys were caught drinking toddy in their school - during school hours - in Kapar last week.

A school teacher caught them drinking the alcoholic brew in a 100-Plus bottle, refrigerated no less!

Of course these boys first said it was the tonic drink but the teacher didn’t buy that. I guess the smell gave them away.

Anyways, upon investigations, it was found that these boys got the toddy from a shop nearby - they had help from a passerby who offered to buy them the toddy.

Now the school is contemplating to suspend them for two weeks. Well they should, if you ask me. And they should also find that idiot passerby and give him a rotan.
